The 17ᵗʰ edition of the Algiers International Comic Festival (FIBDA) came to a close on October 5, 2025, with an award ceremony celebrating the creativity and talent of young participants. Children, teenagers, and students from the Higher School of Fine Arts of Algiers (ESBA) were among those honored for their outstanding contributions to the festival’s artistic workshops.

Participants in the 9th art workshops were recognized for the quality and originality of their comic creations, in categories dedicated to youth, children, and students. The initiative aims to nurture the next generation of comic artists by providing a platform for expression, learning, and recognition.

Winners of the 3D creation and design workshop were also distinguished, reflecting the growing role of new technologies in contemporary art. These awards highlight FIBDA’s commitment to bridging artistic heritage with technological innovation, fostering a dynamic creative environment.
